Kevin's choice of gift for Erin is just priceless. I love the second and third frames. I just ... wow. Cracked me up, and after the day I've had with my roommate's relatives, I really needed that. Thanks!
You rock, Dennis, you totally rock.
Happy Holidays!

I must say, I love the expression on Kevin's face in the first panel. Made me laugh much. Unfortunately I still have a house full of people right now. It's not so bad though, at least I got episodes 1-13 of El Hazard.
------------------

Unlike Erin, I've got a best friend who knows exactly what to get me . . . what does one otaku get another? Anime!
I got X, and my roommate got some Dirty Pair Flash. Much delight and rejoicing! Unfortunately, the Dirty Pair tape starts doing the static/fizz thing less than halfway through, and X came in a badly designed VHS cartridge that somehow convinced my VCR to snag and then eat some of the tape. Much anti-delight and anti-rejoicing.
Unless you've gotten movies from that shop that actually *work*, Eric, I'd recommend not shopping there again...
Argh. Anime? Drugs would be cheaper.
Happy holidays.

Shinomori?
It's so fun making things up only to find out they all ready exist. I just wanted to give Kevin a new coat, a step up from the trademark brown number.
And as far as Erin goes. Two pronged thinking on that one. First off, Erin is the sexy one, so of course she gets a sexy gift. Secondly, Kevin really had no idea what her interests were, and well, "Everybody needs underwear."
I like how this last story is turning out actually. Everything should be in place for the event (I hope. ^_^; ;)
------------------

I must say, Scott had more cool points with his old, glazed over glasses. These new ones, though Annamae may enjoy them (and I'm sure that's the only reason Scott needs), look weird to me. I'm sure I'll get to used them, though. But for now, his cool factor is dropping.
------------------

The new glasses would just be more lightweight for Scott, ease his stress...everybody knows that wire frames are lighter to wear ;P
------------------

It's a sign of maturing in my mind.
Scott's grown up. The old glasses gave him a nerdish look, and these new ones are more modern in design, he's a year older, and a year wiser.
PLUS: You can actually see his eyes with his new pair.
------------------

Sounds like a sign that Scott's going to be a little more visible with his emotions now -- if you can see his eyes, you can see a little bit of what he's thinking.
More opportunities for those lovely double-take moments as well... there's only so much you can show without seeing the eyes.

I can say one nice thing about the holidays - plenty of movies on TV! I don't suppose Sunday's comic was inspired by the nine-zillionth showing of the Breakfast Club on TBS, by any chance?
------------------
