Hey, Dennis, have you even opened that book I gave you, after all, you have about two weeks to read The Fellowship of The Ring. Anyway, sorry I haven't seen you in a while, but since I don't know your schedule, I don't know when you have free time. If you could, I'd like for you to post or e-mail your school schedule, and usual working hours as well. Also, what are you doing on December 19th, because I'M GOING TO THE MOVIES and I want to invite you.
Eric Gaster

I told you it would work, Eric. See? :P
So who else is going to see LotR on opening day? Calling all fanboys! (and fangirls too, of course!) My day-planner for Wednesday the 19th of December has said "Come hell or high water, I WILL GET THIS DAY OFF FROM WORK" ever since they posted the release date for the movie.
--Azz
------------------

Ahh good, now there's a bit of relief. Worried I was the only one in this world who hadn't read it. Perhaps there's a whole legion of the population who have claimed to have read it when in fact they haven't....
------------------

Well, I haven't read LotR either. And I'm definitely going to see it first day. I'm gonna try and band together a group of friends. Opening show, baby!!
Do you guys think it'd be necessary to camp out in front of a theater that's in a town of only 25000?

I'm just remembering the line for TPM... I was with a guy in a Yoda shirt (which he still hasn't returned, the creep!) and a guy with his head shaved and painted like R2-D2. (Wish I had photos, because I did a damn good job on him!) I was Princess Leia. There were a couple Darth Mauls kicking each other's asses....
I doubt I'll be dressing up for LotR. If I do (and that's a big IF) I might look into being a ringwraith. I can do the whole long flowing black outfit thing with no problem.
7 days and 7.25 hours until I get to see the movie!!
--Azz
------------------

Yeargh!!!
No fair!! You've already seen it, and I don't get to see the movie for another (looks at clock and does some speedy math) seven hours and twenty minutes!
(And if you think I'm fuming, you should see Eric...)
--Azz
------------------

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Oh cruel, cruel fate!!!!
This week has been clawing its way deeper and deeper into the murky abyss every minute.
Suffice to say for this thread that I will not be seeing the movie any time soon. Most likely I shall have seen it by next week.
*sigh* I don't know whether I'll be able to show my face at the Game Vault and bear the shame OR the constant reminders of what I missed.
------------------

Late night so I'll make my review short and sweet.
First off, I havent read the books so I had no idea going in and therfore could not nitpick any translation errors.
Second off let me say this.
The Matrix: Shit
Star Wars: Garbage
Fellowship of the Ring: Poetry in Motion
This movie is quite honestly, the greatest film I have ever seen. And the only thing I feel that could surpass it is it's two sequels.
This movie is that beautiful.
Thanks (told you it was short ^_^)
------------------

FOTR was by far one of the best movies I've ever seen, and as a result, I went out and bought the trilogy. Those books are incredible. Once you start reading, you can't stop. I'm about to move on to the third book and I've been reading them for less then a week.
