Laurie Anderson has a bit (on United States 1-4, I think) about how the map we Americans grew up with has a big ol' USA in the middle and Russia/USSR divided in two.<P>NPR had a show on this topic recently. I heard part of this. </B><HR></BLOCKQUOTE><P>I work with a bunch of cartographers and geographers and many other -phers. One of them once showed me a map of the world made in Jordan. Jordan was a huge landmass and North America was a little distorted blob off on the edge.
