Most of us could have figured out Boxjam's real name. I assumed that if he wanted us to know that he would have told us himself. Plus, for me anyway, it added to the wonderment of the strip assuming Boxjam <B>is</B> Boxjam. I didn't realize this was such a big deal. I just thought I'd make a stupid little joke about BoxJam's name--the way buddies do ("Hey, Lickwood!"--I get that from my friends all the time). It was from some kind of newspaper article or something, so I figured it was true. Whatever.

I have heard that BoxJam has had his name legally changed to BoxJam. It used to be Box Jam.
