You're dangerously close to getting me on my old Station Manager's saw about the future of campus/community radio in the face of a broadly homogenized national commercial broadcast system.
I think small, indie, micro-broadcasting stations like my dear old CJMQ are going to become invaluable in a couple of decades as the only remaining outposts with a sincere attachment to their community.
