Since this past Friday, there seems to be a snag in whatever changed in the site design for the Doodle. Simply put, it doesn't show up in Netscape 4.7x; The banners at the top and the title bar appear, but nothing else. In IE the comic itself usually doesn't appear until I scroll up and down a bit. I thought I'd finally mention it because as a Netscape user, the inability to read the newest issues without resorting to opening the second-worst browser on Earth has been driving me nuts. (The worst browser is that one that used to go with older versions of AOL, though I'm starting to think I can't really count that anymore.)
Usually this sort of problem is due to table troubles or a quote that wasn't closed correctly. I took a look at the source, but the tables in that are so nested that they're baffling. (I did notice an oddity with the Keenspace "Select a spot" list, though; the tag goes around the
and
tags instead of inside them.) Wish I could offer more insight in how to fix it, but right now I'm not feeling especially insightful.
Lummox JR
------------------

It was a table problem - I fixed it this
morning, but the Keen updater was down.
The fixed front page should be up any
minute now.
Sorry about that - I do the html in
notepad, and I don't have netscape. I need
to come up with a good way to check this.
------------------

Boxjam, you need a netscape monkey. I have one and his name is Ron. He screams a lot and has developed stress-induced ulcers from me not listening to him, but he is quite helpful. And the killer part is, ...no union.
------------------------
