Most of us could have figured out Boxjam's real name. I assumed that if he wanted us to know that he would have told us himself. Plus, for me anyway, it added to the wonderment of the strip assuming Boxjam is Boxjam. Charles Scultz was Charlie Brown and always will be.[This message has been edited by nd (edited 12-17-2000).]

I didn't realize this was such a big deal. I just thought I'd make a stupid little joke about BoxJam's name--the way buddies do ("Hey, Lickwood!"--I get that from my friends all the time). It was from some kind of newspaper article or something, so I figured it was true. Whatever.

His real name is Mikhail Gorbachev. Really! I have heard that BoxJam has had his name legally changed to BoxJam. It used to be Box Jam.
