Hmmm... as a foreigner (well, a Canadian), I don't really have any preconceived notions about the Civil War, except that the term itself is a beautiful oxymoron. So this is going to be interesting for the impressions it forms.

Did anybody else catch the Professor calling it the -first- American civil war?

Good call on the 'first' Civil War, Drifter! I didn't catch that.

I continue to be amused by how easily most of the Faans! plots could be translated to RPGs. With some really good players, one could even replicate the intense interpersonal plots. Not that this has much to do with the topic, I just keep thinking about it.
