Forget about the General. She's a transient plot point. Eventually, she will be gone, either defeated or in triumph. The people to be watching in this drama are Stu and Timin.

Timin continues to draw my suspicion with his totally innocent and perfectly timed remarks. "Golly. Someone should record all of this for later. Maybe in an autobiographical novelization called It Hurt My Eyes? Just a suggestion." He hasn't made a mistake yet. He's TOO good. Always worthy of suspicion.

Stu, meanwhile, seems bent on offending each and every member of the club as deeply as he can with the kind of wayward deliberateness of someone who's having far too much fun for his own good. He's TOO rotten. Also worthy of a closer look.

It's still just a feeling deep in my gut, but I say that Timin and Stu are plants. Timin for sure. Stu.. maybe not so sure. I could be talked out of it. His relation to Guth is one point that makes it more unlikely than Timin, who came out of nowhere, but it could be done. I'm almost tempted to think that they're working in concert. A kind of 'angel vs. demon' thing. Which means that Timin is probably to REAL badguy. Heh. I'm not sure that even I buy that.

They're... they could be... it seems like they might be.... a test. A test for the whole club. A test that the General knows about. I don't know if she's responsible for it, but it looks like she's pretty eager for the outcome. Of course, I could be wrong, and T could be laughing at me. Either way, we'll find out in the future, I'm sure.

Stu is beginning to irritate ME, and I'm pretty imperturbable. Having spent much of my formative years among football players, I'm used to crude sonsa bitches. Tim Mitts makes me fall out of my chair laughing every time he opens his mouth! Stu, on the other hand...

Plenty of people stereotype football players, and I'll be the first to admit there are legitimate reasons why we're perceived as meathead jocks. But whatever your opinion of us thugs may be, I hope you'll all believe me when I say I've NEVER met anyone as blatantly, unabashedly offensive as Stu.

To be honest, what's irritating me isn't Stu himself so much as it is the fact that he's become such a caricature... I'm used to less one-dimensional characters from T & Co. Maybe wish is right, and he's doing this with a purpose in mind... but if so, then his acting skills rival Will's - besides, judging from Guth, Stu's always been this way.

So is he just what he seems to be, or is there yet some hidden depth to this stinkin' @$$hole redneck?

And notice,if you will, who had a well-timed outburst during "recruitment", at precisely the right moment to draw Stu's attention to Jackie and the Skiffy Club.

Hmmmmmm.....

Is this a battle line I see here? I took your theories about Tim the Fanboy (or Timin as he may also be called) in stride, but now..... linking him with Stu. I must come to the lad's defense!

I shall in time some up with a brilliantly complex theory with which to combat your fingers of blame. Until then however you should know that I am hereby opposed to your theories of timin being a plant for the forces of darkness.

Absolutely not working with STU! Phyeh!

Never doub the bonds of Fanboy Solidarity.

Well... I believe that whatever the General is about to do, will have to focus on eiter Rikk or Will... If you look at her eyes in the comic where Will stops Rikk from wasting Stu, they are looking at Rikk and Will's arm... so whatever she may try to pull will affect him directly. And by the way, I wonder if she's not a totaly unrelated individual to the fanclub. Why everybody says that she must be related to someone in someway??
