Let the speculation begin! On 2002-03-26 23:44, Pirate Dave wrote:
What does Jason use to ink with?
I think that he uses some drawing implement with a fixed-width tip, such as a felt tip pen (or, more likely, a set of them with different diameter). He obtains those variable width "strokes" by actually drawing them, i.e. tracing the outline of the stroke then filling it with ink.

Jason has remarkable subconcious telekinetic abilities. All he needs to do is clearly visualize the desired page in his mind. Then he knocks over a coffee cup onto a sheet of white paper, and the stain forms his EXACT mental image. Once he got some very embarassing results when he tried this the day after the new Victoria Secrets catalog arrived in the mail(Jason doesn't get out much).
At least that's MY theory.

Just thought I'd bring this back up to the top to make sure Jason sees it, now that he's on board.
Decided to pick a cool name for myself (one I used to use when I hung out on USENET and still have my geocities account under), but if anybody wonders "Lord Julius" is the guy who was posting as "SteveB" -- now I'll have to start all over again with my posting count.

You haven't posted to usenet since 1999 (thank you, DejaGoo!)? Just out of curiousity, why did you stop?On 2002-04-16 11:56, lordjulius wrote:

For what it's worth, I noticed that we overlapped for several months on alt.fan.neil-gaiman, but it doesn't appear that we ever posted to the same thread. Alas.On 2002-04-16 22:18, Ray Radlein wrote:You haven't posted to usenet since 1999 (thank you, DejaGoo!)?On 2002-04-16 11:56, lordjulius wrote:

Why did I stop posting to USENET? No real reason, loss of gradual interest (you'll notice, if you Google me, that toward the end it's almost all alt.fan.neilgaiman and hardly anything on the others). I seem to recall something happened that kept me off the boards for a period of time -- busted computer? -- don't remember. Anyway, by that time I had found web forums similar to this one and ended up getting pulled toward them and away from USENET, and I ended up never going back. . .
