I've been curious about this for a long time... Anybody know what song Alisin is listening to here?

Also, what she starts saying when she flips out here always sounded like music lyrics... can anybody confirm/deny?

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."

Hint: you can Google song lyrics by entering a significant bit in quotes, which searches only that exact phrase, like:

"I dress this way just to keep them at bay," which, among other sites, turned up this list of lyrics for Ministry's "Twelve Inch Singles, 1981-1984," including right up at the top, "(Every Day Is) Halloween":

T beat me with another site for Halloween. The other one, though, referred to a song that did not contain what I thought J. was talking about. I thought he meant "I don't wanna die before I die!"

If so, I couldn't find that anywhere (even with "want to" instead of "wanna") so I suspect it's just Alisin. T?

Wow, thanks for the quick responses!

I know ministry, but not their older stuff... interesting. By the way - Alisin listens to Chumbawumba? Wow, that knocks her down a few points on th' ol' Angstometer.

Chumbawamba is NOT just "Tubthumping."

See this:

http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2002/ ... umbawamba/

(For the link-impaired, GM wanted to use a Chumbawamba song in an ad; the band agreed, then gave the money to a corporate watch website that turned around and used it "document GM's social and environmental impact." Tee-hee.

It may not be angstful, but I think Alisin would love it. So would Rik.

Yes, you have to admire an anarchist collective that manages to have an international hit and then urges their fans to steal their CD...
