I was wondering if we could have one thread with all the LoTR puns spotted so far, for all of us who don't remember or only had a passing interest in LoTR when we read it. These are the ones I have so far (keep in mind that my spelling is probably wrong for much of this):<P>Sorryman of Urth.Inc - Saruman of Orthranc

I know there's more, especially about how certain events parallel LotR continuity. Oh, and please correct my spelling, someone.

The correct spelling is Minas Tirith<P>As for more:
-All the various Sor-ren, Siren, Soren (the dinos), etc, worshippers, which are not only plays off of Sauron, but also seem very important to the current plot (i.e., why so many different groups off of the one ploy?)

What is Muchmorethanamall, though? The name seems too odd to not be related.<P>Or maybe it's an attempt to throw us off the track by making a strange-sounding name that isn't tied in to the books.

Actually I think that's a straight up joke, malls frequently promote themselves as "Much more then a mall!!" <P>Of course, I don't remember offhand the name of the little island where the Fellowship splits so it might be a more subtle reference than I realize. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">
