Is "Chord of the Rings" going to lead us through the end of the year, and into the big 2002 "Times of War" storyline? I remember a month or so back T. gave us previews of upcoming storylines, but I can't remember if there's anything between "Chord" and "Times of War.".

Probably not. We're already well into the Two Towers, and most of the stuff normally happens in the Fellowship of the Ring. Unless T.'s extending the end, I think we're around half-way through Chord.

I'm just a stuborn so-and-so) briefly dated an African-American fratboy with whom her roomie set her up.
Seriously, you are bringing up an issue we plan to touch on at a future date. I could say more, but that would spoil your fun, and more importantly, mine.
Maccabee
------------------

I was going to mention Rumy, but I wasn't sure how to phrase it. Of course, there's still a question of whether or not she'll be hauled back to Japan. ::big wink:: Yeah, right. But you notice that all the rest of the cast is white? I'll acknowledge the Skiffy in-joke here (my first two years here, we had one black girl in Skiffy and no Asians), But even wandering around the Billsburg campus there's a noticeable lack of ethnic diversity. T's suggestion that the cast will expand I hope includes plans to add at least one black regular -- especially considering Skiffy's President this year is herself black. As for the recurring question, the boards gave up on the subject long ago -- it's just a question that's been bobbing around the actual club for two years. ^_~

--GB

"The great thing about Jose Chung is that he doesn't look like a 'Jose' or a 'Chung.'" --roommate

I love the fact that Spider-Man reads our comic. It almost makes me want to read HIS again.
We do indeed have a few things planned before "TIMES" gets into full swing... because THAT storyline is going to WRENCH things.
Look for a major cast expansion next month...

You mean there might be ... racial diversity in FANS!(TM)? That would be different, albeit more realistic.

--GB

"Why aren't there any black characters in FANS!?" --recurring question
[This message has been edited by GarrisonBeckett (edited 10-25-2001).]
