I have been out of here for quite some time for various reasons.
First there is my schooling, job, and busy game schedule.
Then there was the fact that I pulled a Pete Abrams and was glued to a PS2 for 3 days straight.
Then Vallie came and visited me here in Oregon so I had her to spend time with.
And since then I have been recuperating.
*sigh*
Now it's back to the old routine!
Loved the Flash by the way. I was kind of thrown because I had expected sound but it did just fine without audio.
"...The MAN!......"
------------------

Still here - - - where would I go?
Busy with getting the new fanfic off the ground, and trying to edit Auxilerated into shape. Goodness me, how we rambled
Hope to begin the fanfic within the week, if Tuscahoma and I can get an opening scene written. At present, "Ruminations" is favourite for us to go with; I hope it doesn't clash with any future sidestories you had in mind (nervous grin). I am keen to see how well moderating a fanfic using the "play-by-email" model will actually work.
As for the rest of the regulars; would college exams or an impending holiday account for some of their gafiation?
Muttley

Second time running that I've woken up in the morning to find that AutoKeen hasn't done its thang. Least I'm an early riser, huh? :-) It's fixed now, and I'll be checking every morning at 6-7 AM, EST.
Here is as good a place as any to make the announcement: FANS will be moving to a slightly later update time for the crossover. I know some of you guys enjoy clicking it right when it updates (or SHOULD update... grrr...) but if we stayed to our current schedule, the crossover pages would appear out of order, and I don't think anybody wants that.
I'll let you know more details when I do...

So will the chronological order within each day be a consistent "first CRFH, then Fans"?

Ah! Well, the labor on fanfic certainly isn't something I care to interrupt...
Still, there's been a pronounced slowdown since Friday. It could be that the Flash story and Gisele's last page just aren't all that "commentable..."
It could be that my return from vacation scared everyone off...
Or it could be that the sluggishness of the Keenboards' loading time is discouraging people. Is this a serious factor? Should we be looking into moving this board to a new server?
[This message has been edited by T Campbell (edited 07-24-2001).]

Well, it is a drag to have to sometimes wait a minute or so to load the message board. That said, the sluggish loading isn't what's stopping me from posting too much. I just usually don't have too much to say.
But, I did notice a big drop-off in other peoples' replies. Definetly unusual.

Well, there's a couple reasons why I haven't been posting as much the past few days. Work has been very busy with server crashes, virus scares, and other various n sundry problems.
I haven't been reading any scifi lately; I just finished "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". I've also been absorbed in trying to figure out the difference between things like goth, techno, industrial, rave, etc. Seems that music-wise there's a fair amount of overlap in styles, but the main difference is ideology.
Anyway. Don't mind my babbling; went to my first "goth night" at a club last night. Had fun but paying for it this morning...
*zzzz* *snork* *startle* *briefly rouses herself*

Weekend from Hell. My daughter was sick, and she was very cranky. Missed work Monday, and I've been trying to catch up. I guess I just haven't felt up to it. And then there's this looming Friday deadline on a project I'm working on.
--Tuscahoma

Well, I'm still here. That is, I'm practically never here, but I'm still reading.
