I'm not sure if I could get behind a blood wall-writing preformance art piece like Alisin's, but today's page has made me wonder if Rumy's recent suffering will improve her artwork. Any other artists (of any ilk) out there who have been through a misery journey and were made stronger by what didn't kill you?
-Wish
Or I'm still alive and there's nothing I want to do.
Suffering for your art?

Does working for Brainstorm Comics qualify as a misery journey? Oh, the stories I could tell... the worst pain I intentionally inflicted on myself was going a whole weekend without sleep in order to meet a deadline. I've done this several times. Not fun at all, especially when your eyes won't focus when you're trying to ink.
Thor
