It remains to be seen whether Rikk is truly down (here's hoping those suits don't conduct and can stand up to some serious heat), but Rikk had to know it was possible he would go down, so he probably prepared everyone for that possibility. If he goes down, Kath would be my guess for his first designated replacement, for example. All of the club are familiar with the broad plan and specific tactics. Of course planning for that and actually dealing with it are two different things; have they trained enough to keep their heads.On a related note, Rikk had to know that FIB might release some of the monsters as one possible response to intruders and may have some plan to turn them to the Fan's side. In fact, Rikk seemed to be deliberately taunting Agent Jones, maybe hoping he would use what could be a very dangerous gambit for FIB.--Tuscahoma

I'm thinking it has more to do with GalaxyQuest's last minute deux ex machina, the Omega-13, with turned back time exactly 13 seconds. Why Jones wants to turn back time 13 seconds is beyond me. It's not as if he could do anything different. I mean, the attack was quick, but I hardly doubt it started 13 seconds ago.Bellebet
