I've got it. Alisin was hiding the hat on her person. Where you ask?

Um....well. I figured that Will and Tim had spare hats for whoever else came with Rikk. Rikk decided to put it on because when Tim handed it to him (he was tired of holding it) he was busy making phone calls and not paying attention.
ORRRRRRRRR.......It's not a hat. It's a rare North American Brain Mold. It has latched onto Rikk's head to feed on the low quality thoughts that could be found there. Brain Molds feed on the low frequency thoughts that are distracting and stupid to their hosts, and in return the Brain mold emmits high frequency thought into it's host. This has the effect of making the host think clearer and with a greater general intelligence. The brain mold does this because it's somewhat evolved anscestor began to gain sentience once. When the proto-brain mold realized it existed it began a philosophical theorization session that laster for nearly a month. At the end of the process it realized how hungry exhausted, unfulfilled and lonely it was. It also realized that it only noticed these things because of it's sentience. Thus the brain mold began the process of mindwave transfer. By absorbing the low quality thoughts from other creature and purging itself of quality mental processes, the brain mold was able to stay just beyond the threshold of sentience. This made it's life very very easy and relaxing. Thus, Brain molds try and find hosts as often as posible; transfer thought patterns until the point where they don't think at all (this is when they forget to hold onto the the host); then slowly achieve the presence of mind to remember to find a host.
Rikk is in his meditation right now because he doesn't wish to waste the "charge" from the brainmold.
whew. I'm out of breath!
------------------

[Nodrog mode On]
It's very simple, really.
Agent Jones has the 23-sider of power. He WANTS the Fans broken up so he can build them up again as an elite FiB strike force. Unfortunately, the dies doesn't work quite like that; what it really does is create/summon alien dopplegangers to fulfill whatever role the "wantee" has in mind. What we're seeing is a 23-sider set of dopplegangers playing out the final scene the way Agent Jones, deep down in his heart, wanted it to go.
In reality, the meeting in the swamp ended up degenerating into a wild 4-way sex party. This left Rikk feeling much better, and Will feeling guilty (see yesterday's page). Tim and Alisin aren't really depressed; they're just exhausted.

Hmmm.. I'm torn... If I say it was a little artist snafu (([fanfic related joke] AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! NOT SNAFU!!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!! [/fanfic related joke])), then it'll be revealed to ACTUALLY be a highly important plot point with extra flashback explaining the how and why... and if I say it's a highly important plot point with a full explination forthcoming, then it'll probably be an artist snafu. So we'll all just be caught in this Shrodinger-esque quandry until the omnipotent outside obvserver (T) cracks open the box and collapses then uncertainty wave.
-Wish

I may "fix" the page tomorrow to make this a bit clearer...
Will's memories, like Shanna's, aren't perfect. Shanna gets fuzzy really quickly on places and purses and suchlike, especially when under the influence of drugs. Will is much more exacting (his account can generally be trusted), but in his guilt he does forget the ONE detail which might PARTIALLY justify his attacking Rikk in the first place.
Or it WAS an artist snafu, and we're just frantically backpedaling to cover ourselves. Your choice...

Does that make it not a No-Prize but a Maybe-Prize?
And the cat in the desert is an escaped Shrodinger's-experiment cat from (drum roll please) FiB Headquarters Laboratories! Permanently terrified from the sound of breaking glass.

Well, seeing as how my handle has been mention FIVE times already, I fealt I needed to post.
As for how the damage migrated, that's easy: When the SNAF's Rirrom was disrupted by a powerful, localized set of sound waves (see the Auxilerated thread), the Rirrom had the effect of 'mirror'ing several things in both universes. IE, Rikk's shoulder wound has switched shoulders and Alisin's whip moved hands (It goes from right to left).
The changes should stabalize once the SNAF stop messing around with the chaos fields which normally protect universes from discovering how right Robert Heinlein was in The Number of the Beast.
Nodrog "All hail Pixel, the coolest non-talking, non-anthro cat of them all!" Skrap

I thought it was pretty telling, actually.. As much as Tim likes to joke about, talk about, even obsess about sex, his interest in the acts most carnal pale in comparison to his devotion to his 'stuff.' A devotion that he might even be ashamed of! He developed his inner pervert to hide his rampanging materialistic streak! (Now isn't THAT a twist? ^_^)
-Wish
