Wait a sec... 'favorite uniform'? How can you have a favourite uniform? I thought the whole idea was that they're all the same. I suppose one's 'favourite' could be the one without any rips or stains... but I doubt any of Rumy's would normally have those.

So you think rumi is going to see if the man of steel has balls o steel?

Awwww yeah Godai.
Wouldn't he have balls of titanium? He hasn't referenced steel yet, but he has mentioned he can crush titanium. Hmmm....I thought titanium was special because it was LIGHTER than steel and not stronger. I mean, it's still impresseive to crush it..... maybe titanium is the strongest metal on Hype's homeworld.
------------------

Sure they "look" the same, but that's not important.
------------------

Actually, this is interesting. He's strong enough to crush titanium, stop bullets, but Rumy bruised his eye? Perhaps his powers are based on concentration. Rumy surprised him and he got hurt. Or perhaps he can assign different levels of power to different abilities/parts of his body. Either way, Rumy might just surprise him enough to test that balls o' titanium theory.
--Tuscahoma

Other possible meanings of "favorite uniform"
Her school issues summer and winter uniforms, or dress and field uniforms (West Point cadets don't always wear those big-assed shakos, for instance).
She could have transferred to lots of differents schools, and have a uniform for each.
They could all look the same, but one is more comfortable -- just the right degree of give in the waistband, collar still stiff enough to look good but doesn't pinch, that sort of thing.
Maybe Rumy's a closet Buffy fan and it's a reference to Kendra ("That was me favorite shirt! That was me only shirt!")
Maybe she just wants to add emotional guilt to blunt trauma in her punishment of old Hypes.
I promise that it is not an admission from Rumy that she really does work for the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the school-girl uniform is the urban camoflage uniform for their elite amazon ranger force.
------------------

Perhaps it was just an excuse to hit Hyperman some more. If he had done anything it would have made her madder. "THAT WAS SOMEONE'S CAR, YOU INSENSITIVE CLOD!" "STOP BREATHING MY AIR!" etc.
------------------

The Japanese have cultural moors concerning when you can where what (T-shirts are a big no-no until about march) and the Skirt/sweater or Sailor Fuku is pretty constant.
What's really weird is the sock glue. Japanese girls like big, floppy socks that fall off of their feet unless they get special glue.
Ex animo,
