I'd guess no....

I'd also be very curious as to whether or not she had any children in those "in between" years after she left home and before she met Rikk.

Why am i speculating about this?

Because Dr. Why has slicked back black hair.

Of course, Rumi already has a child that we DO know about, and she has black hair too.

I know this SHOULD be in one of the jillion who is Dr. Why threads that already exist, but it's a two part post, and i wanted to consolidate.

Still reading? Good, part two...

WHY would the general have a com chip in her PALM? with all that a person uses hands for, it seems like a chip in one's palm would lend itself to breaking on a regular basis... for a moment there i had "Logan's Run" flashbacks, and i wanted to know what color the general's palm chip was...

Any insights?

Oh, and just to make this a three part post and share my laughter, doesn't the Professor's wig and glasses in today's strip look like an intelligent brain?

I wouldn't use Alison's hair colour as a basis for any speculation on familial relation, as most Goths don't have naturally black hair.

True, but the pictures of her as a child do suggest that she did have black hair back then as well.

On the other hand, there's nothing to say that the Professor doesn't dye his hair either.

Alison sad. Think Rikk love Ru more than her.

(No, I don't know why I'm speaking in pidgeon English.)

(No, I don't know why I posted this usless reply.)

If there were any little Alisins running around she'd presumably have mentioned it to Rikk. Personally, I suspect that carrying a child to term wouldn't fit into Alisin's live-fast-die-young lifestyle, even if you don't consider the prenatal damage the poor kid would suffer from Alisin's legendary drug intake. My assumption is that she uses birth control pills. After all, what's one more pill?

Possibly. But if there were any terminated pregnancies in her past, I'm not sure she'd have mentioned those. There's a chance she'd worry too much about how he'd feel about that to tell him - even with all she did tell him.

Then again, I suspect that's unlikely - I think that she wasn't holding anything back from him. No holds barred seems very much her style when she does something.

I'm sorry to ask, but do know what the nature of her disease is? I mean, it's obviously not sexually transmitable, but seems to be carried by... blood (since she got it from picking up a syringe and cutting her hand)?
Even a blood disease would be carried to a child, probably. I'd put that down as probably the main reason of her not having children...

There may be a slight hint here:

(Whether it's a hint depends on how accomplished a liar Alisin is).

Well, in the very first fews day that we heard about the disease, Alisin also said that it's not a sexual disease but it *is* a blood disease, so yeah, that's right...

It's possible, also that the reason Alisin's looking so stricken is because that should have been *her*. She came all the way over here specifically to defend Rikk against attacking nasties, and when the crisis comes, Alisin couldn't even lift a finger.

Note: The sound effect of the Professor's time machine is identical to that of the General's teleportation....

I noticed that too. Maybe that is the 'Universal sound' of teleportation in the Fans universe.

In accordance with that certain strip I don't believe that Alisin has had children. I believe that she wouldn't want children not only would they hamper her lifestyle, but she also knows that she is dying and i don't think she would want to bring life into the world and then have to leave it. She probably has always taken certain precautions, taking the pill, or in more extreme cases had abortions
