Ahhhh so THAT'S what Tim's expression was about, he must have known that the news would devastate Rikk... still, it had to be expected eventually, if ST:TOS had the same timeline in the comic as IRL, then Dotty would have to be in her fifties or sixties by now... Man (and woman) is mortal, after all.. ;o; Poor Clara. And poor Rikk.Still, I think Rikk would be strong enough to handle this situation without too much inner turmoil.. he will probably want to go and say goodbye, but whether or not that's a good idea (and a selfish one perhaps) will be his only struggle. Of course, it doesn't say what she's dying from... perhaps he'll want to try and help.. introducing Doogie "Rikk" Howser, M.D. wannabe! However, MY main question... Is it just me? Or does it look like 7 of 9 is retrofitting Will with a super-mecha-penis in frame 2??? I laughed so hard, but I can't honestly believe that its not just my guttermind making it look that way... ? *Still chuckling*------------------------

Its not just not knowing Clara is Clara StrudenberryShe's been hearing this from Tim's perspective and knows this is a Clara Rikk cares about I mean he was really really blatantly pathetically obvious about it all the way back when. Everyone else knew about his fascination with Clara and then Asilin. Mind you I couldn't hide my near sexual desire for pizza and women in a wet red dress, hopefully carrying one.Still I mean man isn't there a club bylaw for this. desk scrubbing. reverse heel wearing or of course the walk of 1000 4 siders (okay maybe just 30 she is *old* gen tec)

In other news we need to oust meighan outside of filling the b1tchy one quota she doesn't deserve to be in the club. I mean to NOT know Clara after having Rikk as a context clue. What is she a fan of? Is *she* in the closet about her fandom geekiness (I mean the way she treated Tim and dressed it was like saying nope no geeks here super serious business lady at a super serious business class.)

Fandom does not equate to Star Trek. I know plenty of people who like one or two aspects of Fandom - perhaps role-playing games, perhaps comics, perhaps sci-fi literature - but can not name any TOS actor save Kirk and perhaps Nemoy. Personally, I think this situation might hit Rikk pretty hard. Not necessarily because of how he used to feel about Clara, but because of how he feels about Alisin. Though Rikk already knows about her illness, he might not be thinking about it much since she doesn't act sick and Jones said they might be able to cure her in a year.The situation with Clara might bring all his fears about Alisin back up. If he can't save her, he'd probably have to face the fact that he might not be able to save Alisin either.
