... that last panel in Monday's strip.Is what I think is about to happen, about to happen?I predict this one's gonna get reeeeeal ugly.Plus, T, I gotta say-- aren't there classier ways to make money than Alisin's little top ten list? It seemed so crass compared to the intelligence displayed in the usual comics. (Of course, I _did_ go ahead and read the sample, but...)Nathan

I can see a lot of bad coming for Rumiko in this. And she's gotten the short end of the stick to many times for my liking. I just hope this works out in her favor somehow.------------------

Alisin's top ten list was suggested by a reader and was one of the most popular suggestions in a merchandise poll we did a while back. In other words, it's a special treat for those who've been asking for something like it; not an indicator of things to come.I've got no real interest in going the porn route. (You should hear Greg and me debate the definition of "porn" sometime...)

Up until now, I've been in favor of Alisin and Rikk, like Bushipunk. Like Rikk, I guess I've got a Thing for Goth punk girls too.;D However, in recent weeks, I come to the decision that something's got to give and Alisin has to do the giving. It occurs to me that Rikk's attraction to Alisin is based on an unconsious desire to "save" her. The problem is, Alisin may not WANT to be "saved". The timing appears to be right for a bit more serious story arc (the LOTR arc being more comedy than drama).As has been said in other threads, this can only end badly....Kaisius
