... Wow ...This is intense stuff.So there are three involved, including Shanna.I admit that I'm lost, but I'm also fascinated. Especially by the darkness of it all, and the urgency. Okay, today's strip sinched it for me. Will is the itch.(Yeah, I know, pretty brave of me to say only day or so from the reveal ;p) Anywho, Shanna feels she owes Kath the truth because she going to be stealing Will away from her (and yes, Shanna will get Will in the end. How's THAT for brave!). Kath's immeadate reaction will be "no big deal" because 1) They were never *really* a couple and 2) she was just using Will anyway...that's what Kath will tell herself anyway. Just had a strange, Evil little thought. What if the itch isn't Will, but Qi'kii, his klingon character from way back when?!?!?!?!?

Now the itch being for the Kilingon, that'd be great! If only Shanna had been Troi instead of Crusher. heh heh...I had just been thinking about the scene in the movie and was about to mull over an interpretation of the scene when Kaisius' post made me think of something. Stealing Will from Kath.
Stealing Buttercup from Humperdink.heh heh heh. I was also going to comment on how Fehzik was one of the only names mentioned and he was incredibly strong, like Will. However, I like the above theory better.------------------

Three things to consider:1) Will dislikes Shanna more than anyone in the club, and there is no reson to think it isn't genuine.2) Will has a new girlfriend, even if she is in another state (and comic). True, it was a crossover relationship, but it looked like T and Maritza meant to keep it going.3) Will is in NYC right now (story time).Note on the timeline: Since this is supposed to be taking place over summer vacation of an undisclosed year, there is little reason to think that real-world events of Sept 2001 would have any direct impact on this. T says that they've kicked around ideas for another crossover in late 2003 I doubt they'd hold it up that long. After all, Will seems to be the ladies man in every crossover (he's 2 for two right now) and I doubt that any of them will come to anything. I think that Will and April got both of them jump started in the relationship area. I think that both of them are going to be out looking soon, at least I hope so. I've always thought that April needs a guy but that's another comic. I'd really like to see Will actually be in a relationship with another theater major during a summer production. That'd mix things up a bit.------------------

Will dislikes Shanna? That's news to me.I know he didn't like Alisin too much (though he seems to have warmed to her a tad), he loathed Kath just after the break-up (though they've somewhat made-up), and he has a love-hate relationship (platonic, of course) with Tim. But I thought he was amiable to the rest of the crew.

It's far too early for me to go hunting around the archives, but Will and Shanna always seemed to be at least a possibility. From Will's comments to her in the first two storylines, it seems possible that Will sees more of Shanna's fandom than she sees herself. When he caught her using his Clingon name, for example, his response seemed to be somewhat gentle mockery. Then there was the "and you call yourself a mundane!" comment when they were at the gaming tables at the Con in Italy. I think they definitely see something in eachother, and Shanna HAS had more panel-time with WIll than any other male fan.I suspect that she's still to cynical to be drawn to Rikk's idealism, and haven't seen anything to make me think she's a lesbian. I can, of course, be wrong. Even during the TMDG storyline I was the one poster here who DIDN'T guess 78.2% of the upcoming plot twists, so don't count on me.

Ahhh but what you are all assuming is that she IS in fact, talking about will..."I Have to Tell her.."Now that could mean anything, From it actually being to Katherine, to it being Rumy, To It being Will as everyone says it is, I Personally dont think it Is will. It is -far- too obvious. And It would be a great deal out of style for T. Rumiko would be a definate, and welcome surprise. Seeing as how she seems to have accepted Rikk's attachment to Alisin, Shanna might be drawn to her artistic Style, a Writer and an Artist, nice combination.I dont know why but shanna and Kath keep coming to mind...BOTH are control freaks (In their own, personal, twisted way) BOTH seem to have a certain knack of the obvious, and for controlling certain situations, and it seems to be one of the more hinted at choices.Whatever the awanser, it will make for fine story.*Salutes*Latez.

So I am twisting my head around what today's story could mean.Dreams of the three of them... have to tell her... and why did T include Meighan in the poll?Okay, I think it's pretty obvious that Shanna is going to talk to Kath. We haven't seen anyone else in the strip that Shanna is close to except Kath, and Kath is still in town.But what will Shanna tell her?. Here's a possibility that might not be so obvious and might still fit the facts. Perhaps Kath is attracted to someone but hasn't done anything about it (fearing her reasons, not wanting to get involved with another gentle soul and twisting them). If I have to wait another weekend to find out if I am right/wrong/without clue; I will get my pitchfork of lightining bolts and trek from Kentucky to Virginia, looking for a certain storyteller....Personnally, because Shanna is not the most favorate of my characters, (gee guess who this person is), I am actually enjoying the torment that T and the artists are inducing on the would-be mundane.Well, I have to say that I still don't know who the heck it is that Shanna has an itch for, but I hope.... really really hope.... that I have a clue who it is Friday...(place sadistic grin here)------------------
