okay, so now i'm drawing pictures of glenn and ordinary citizen joe. and maybe one of super joe for second place in his own contest.but until i post them, i offer ONE MORE CONTEST!!! (this one's a tuffie)the prize: the winner in a fishtank complete with a dolphin and pirahnas doing all doing some aquatic varietion of the macarena.the question: what musical work of fiction (read- concept album) was the inspiration for Rael? (clue- he's half puerto rican and from new york city, which will be included in the comic in the upcoming month)------------------

oh, i've set you on the wrong trail with the puerto rican reference...the work i'm speaking of is not a musical, but more of a rock-opera. but still more of a concept album. a musical way to tell a story... and also one of my favorite albums of all time. ^___^

godai wins! i love love love that album!The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was Peter Gabriel's last album with the band Genesis. it was a double album consisting of the story of Rael, a half puerto-rican punk form new york city who gets sucked into this magic realism/ surreal world. It's got some awesome music and has a great story and warrants being listened to reapeatedly with headphones on, doing nothing else but paying attention to every detail of the music.uh.. no.. i'm not obsessed...
