I notice that strips as of late have had color! This is by no means a protest, but what spurred the sudden color movement? Is it just a sudden abundance of free time, or is it there to allow you to use the colorful backgrounds?

I originally did colour ones for major battles and soforth, but now I just do it when I have time, and do black & white when I don't. This is probably bad policy.
Oh, and I'm going to be on a break while I'm in NZ, so no Riboflavin for two weeks, guys. Maybe I'll do some Ribovision gear to fill in the time...
------------------

I don't think he's had -very- many, it's difficult enough just to fucking well find someone in the first place, let alone ask 'em out (</Raile>), but my strip will be during an unseasonal period where is shot down in flames six times within a fortnight.
------------------

Ok here are the ideas:
1: Raile gets locked in a dungeon by an apprentice dominatrix, and then forgotten when she gets a phone call.
2: Raile goes out with a girl who only talks to him when she hurts her ankle dancing
3: Raile's date talks to horsemeat, dances, gets drunk and throws up on his shoes.
All of these are one pic panels.
lotsa fun

*snicker*
I don't think Raile would get that far with a dominatrix. But show us!
------------------

Ok, today is my birthday, and I promised myself that I'd have Fault and Dakranon's first strip done by today.
Hasn't happened yet, but I'm gonna go and draw some, and come back with some stuff.
Wish me luck and creativity.

Hey everyone. Life just turns into a giant hand sometimes and slaps you upside the head. Well, Christmas was good for me, I hope it was good for all of you.
I am turning into Fred Gallagher: I have officially decided I suck as a an artist, and have given up on ever being good, however I'll try to keep my ranting about it to a bare minimum.

Phaaa, you're alright. Just take a bit of a rest, maybe go buy something inspiring from the comic shop... It all comes down to life-crushing amounts of practice!
------------------

Well if it is your first comic drawing endeavour, it is destined to fail i'm afraid. I too have tried my hand at making comics, but the tedium is quite extreme. Give it a few go-rounds and eventually you'll probably get something drawn past the first page (ouch).

You know what I've been doing for fun in the comic department? Fan ART!! wheee! Here's the best piece of it so far
<IMG SRC="

It's Lexx and Chel from Alien Dice.
I'm still working on the whole dominatrix and Raile strip. <IMG SRC="

That drawing inspired me to do my own kissy drawing! With Raile and some random chick. But Angelfire is being bitchier than usual, and it won't let me upload the picture..
Y'know, I'd say the hardest thing about drawing more than one person like that is drawing them in proportion to each other. blah, I guess it'd be easier if I had some kinda that 'talent' everyone's always talking about.
------------------

Go Concubine! pity about the upload problem.
I often completely redo pictures after I've finished the draft, with this one I adjusted the size of her head and ears and redid all the arms/bodies before it looked right. But I'm very happy with the result, it's very clean, and CUTE!
Hey JAmes hows things going for the three a week updates?

Yah, complicated interaction is tough, kissing particularly so... mostly because of what Concubine says... after a lot of practice, you can just throw yourself in, and then trust yourself to make the right adjustments to the disproportionate figure afterwards, I think...
Argghh, I hope I have the time and resources to get Monday's strip in... maybe I'll update on Tuesday or Wednesday or something, if necessary.
------------------
