In days long past, the original Dropdown Depot (v.1.0) used to be a part of the gear. Now these things are mainly spread by word of mouth.

Shortly after starting this I went through all of the comics in the old dropdown (~80) to find out which ones had updated in the preceding six months and then e-mailed all twenty-three of the authors, only four of whom got back to me. Thusly did my personal Well of Pimping Enthusiasm run dry.

Plugging the the Dropdown Directory v.3.0 (or more simply just the DD&C forum) on the CG mailing list might be a start... though it's been (rightly) pointed out that not too many people actually sign up for that anymore.

*waves frantically* Ooh! Me! Me!

Creator Name: Beth McMillan
Comic Name: Teacosies With Irony
URL: http://teacosieswithirony.comicgenesis.com
Comic Rating: PG-ish
My comic qualifies because: Two of the main characters are bi, two are in a long-term lesbian relationship and the other two are sort of straight but not unbendable ;) Ooh, and I fancy girls. And am a girl, in case the "ooh"ing didn't sell you on that one.

Am I too late?

ps. if the text is too teeny for you to read, click on the text that says "Large Print Version"

Added. Remember to put the script on your page!

A good way of telling if a dropdown is still adding people is to check how long ago the mod last posted. Four days in this case. :P

Author Name: Pyros
Comic Name: Queer!
URL: http://queer.comicgenesis.com
A brief description of why your comic qualifies: Ahem! Well, as of yet there isn't a single heterosexual character in the comic (but there will be...) The main character is gay, the other main is gay and dating, the next is gay and there is a lesbian and a transgendered in it. Queer enough yet? There's more

The whole point of this comic is to look at the real-life aspect of being gay, relationships with friends, heterosexuals, each other, etc. It's humour, but it's serious too.

I hope it's gay enough for this dropdown! =D

Several main characters are "otherly oriented" and two are involved in a relationship at the beginning of the comic.

It's not a romance, so it may not apply to the dropdown as well as some others.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

Romance isn't a major factor as long as the characters are presented in a positive light.

A brief description of why your comic qualifies: I'm gay, most of the characters in the comic are gay. Also there is a high 'camp' factor.

Allan Ecker
Umlaut House
http://umlauthouse.comicgenesis.com
PG-13

The cast is pretty much a kalidescope of sexual orientations and storylines often revolve around people's social hangups relating to them. Was on the old GaySpace dropdown before it went foom. Updating 1-2 times a week consistently since 2001.

Maybe this'll finally motivate me to update my main page. XD

Too late to sign up?

Author Name: Kelley Sullivan
Comic Name : Pickle Girl
URL : http://picklegirl.comicgenesis.com
Comic Rating: web14
A brief description of why your comic qualifies.: One of the main characters is about to reveal that they are a post operative transsexual. Not the centralized theme of the comic, but it will be sensitive and help promote awareness to tollerance

I will be able to add the script in within the next week to ten days, but I may need a bit of help with the scripting, for I am quite the idiot.

My computer's currently on the fritz so I can't modify anything at the moment. I'll add you to the dropdown as soon as I get it back, hopefully within the next few days.

Put on the dropdown and all.

Author Name:
Andy (wicked hatter)
Comic Name:
Skewed Reality
URL:

Comic Rating:
Web MA
A brief description of why your comic qualifies:
I suppose first and foremost, I'm transsexual (f2m). The comic's main character is a personification of myself, and knows this, and though he's physically male, he's as bisexual as I am. He lives with a gay couple, his also bisexual male lover, and a female friend who though it hasn't been mentioned yet, is bisexual as well. In fact, most of the cast is either gay or bisexual, come to think of it.
