Submission
Are we allowed to submit more then one image? I have one here, beach themed. But I wouldn't mind doing something else summer-like too for it. The image is here it's of my characters from Emergency Exit . Whoo. Also, I like the site, and the stick figures.
The texture doesn't match...JexKerome wrote:The site looks good... except for the background. It's too small a picture and the tile effect I don't like. Can live with it, though.BOMC wrote:Any comments?
I'd do something like this: paste the file 4 times, next to each other.
use smudge, blur and stuff, to make it match in the middle, and then cut a piece from the middle and use that as the texture.
And tasha, you should use BBCode instead of HTML, ie. [url=http://] instead of <a href="http://>, and [img]http:// instead of <img src="http://
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

I didn't realize the the forums no longer support HTML in the signatures, so this was a big help! ^_^YarpsDat wrote:And tasha, you should use BBCode instead of HTML, ie. The link tags seemed to work okay, but the image tags didn't. Your sig works because it's just a text link.Atsu wrote:It doesn't? My sig has HTML.tashasworld wrote:Thanks! Heh. I like the new tracks-in-sand background much better.
Which reminds I've yet to start work on this.

Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
