Keen Heroines - Strong and keen women in Keenspace-Dropdown

by Asarea
MOD EDIT: This is a zombie dropdown. If you'd like to make a replacement for it, please start a new thread.
-Pillywiggin
-----------------------------------
This is a Dropdown for all comics (mixed genre/style) matching all named conditions:
- Main character (or one of the main characters) must be female. 'Main' means: The woman must appear regularly in your storyline and have a leading rule.
- The female main character must be of strong/ independent/ leading/ fierce character - it's important the reader can see her as individual person with recognizeable traits.
- Please no 'clich' big boobies-no brains-women. We want to have 'real' women in this dropdown, heroines showing their competence in life with more than some blatant arguments on their chests.
- Regular updates and more than 20 Pages: This Dropdown should give readers the possibility to get fluent storylines and evolving characters, so we want to avoid dead links.
Information needed to add you to the Dropdown:
- Comic URL
- Comic Name
- Author's Name
- Name of the female leading character
I will visit your comic and tell you if you're added and if not, why I've decided to do so. *smiles*
Have fun,
Asarea

Comic name: And Shine Heaven Now
Author's name: Erin Ptah
Name of the female leading character: Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing
She's not my character; it's a fancomic. But it has over 200 strips, updates every day (it used to update Sunday through Friday but it's daily as of recently), and Integra's so darn awesome that she merits inclusion in any "Strong Women" list. (Even if it's a little hard to tell that she
is a woman at first glance ^_~)
And by the way:

Shrodinger's not a catboy, either ^_^ He's a werewolf, so I think "wolfboy" would be the closest you can get =P

Ne...it's, um, been over a month since I requested to be added. Was I rejected or wha?
Also, the image doesn't seem to work. If you want me to host it off of keenspace, I could...

Comic: MINDMISTRESS at
url:
http://mindmistress.keenspace.com/
Author: Al Schroeder
Heroine: MINDMISTRESS (well, DUH!). Actually, she's a SUPER-heroine, and MM is one of the few straight (non-humorous) superhero sagas around. Her alter ego is called Lorelei Lyons, but MM is her own person.
You'll see.---Al

To all new submissions:
Sorry Tarra, I have to reject
"Duck and Cover" - not enough strips at the moment. If you have more than 20 real storyline strips in your archive I'd be happy to put you into the list.
And I have to reject
"Cicerone", too - there are many pages with fillers, but no story. The dropdown is meant for 'reading' fluent storylines, and there are less than 20 storyline-pages. If you have more then 20, check back
"McDuffies" will fit in, I think that Jessie or Rebeca make excellent heroines of the normal day. *smile* Gimme your details, please.
"And shine heaven now" fits in
"Zeera the Space Pirate" fits in, too - I'm happy I don't have to mail you myself *smiles* *thought about asking her to be added herself*
"MINDMISTRESS" is a perfect fit-in.
That's it for now. All the three added.

by Pimpette
Hrm... just wondering if Pimpette would fit in here, heh
Technically Pimpette herself is a strong female character who is in charge of just about everyone...
..And there is a storyline...
..But I dunno if the content itself is *quite* what you're looking for
In any case, let me know.
Comic: Pimpette & Associates
Comic:

Female Characters:
Pimpette (main), or Kria(her sister, who will be seen more in future strips)

When I plug the new code/address into my site, nothing happens (Or at least nothing appears on-screen). The original code still works, but there's still no picture.

BTW, where should dropdown be placed? Main page or is links page ok too?
(I don't have any links on my index page so dropdown would be a bit out of place, but I have no problems putting it there since it's the only working dropdown I'm in now)
