asarea... sorry i haven't put the keen heroines dropdown onto l&z yet. in part it was from having way too much work too do and not being able to get my brain around what i was supposed to be doing with it exactly. now that i have worked it all out i'd like to say that i think i'd like to drop l&z from the list - but that i would really really like to add magellan to the list...

it's because i feel that magellan is much more in the heroines vein of things and l&z isn't so much. i guess i'd feel happier if l&z was off. magellan only has 19 pages but will have 20 by wednesday and is currently updating twice a week, and has a whole bunch of strong, intelligent female characters. if you reckon it's a go i promise to get the dropdown onto the site pronto.

I have 20 tables so far. Hypatia has made her first appearance in about 4 or 5 of them, but will return soon and often. My idea for her is to be someone who starts at about the same time as Ohforf, the noob, but is a lot more resourceful and generally skilled - and who ends up as one of his closest friends.

well the comic seems like a testosterone nightmare
but i have three main female characters who are
*ahem* well formed, but i feel i have given them
enough character and intelligence and they're not throw away
boobie-machines.

Naomi: a fiercely humble girl who is a masochist,
but knows when to stop playing games and
put things in order. she recently dumped a psychotic
guy and he's been looking around for her.
but in no way is she helpless. (she is a hired killer!)

i'd like to think that the ladies are well rounded individuals,
and more will be going into their psyches and such later on.
and since this comic deals with horrendously flawed characters
you will see the good, bad and the ugly.

I got 186 pages up and about 180 more to go, *sweats*
although the main character can been seen as the really bloody
guy in my banner below, it's a story of 8 people with issues
and i'm happy to say three of the most vocal ones i like to write
are the females.

Finally had the time to browse through all those archives - and that's the result:

Pirate Queen Marianne, The Noob and Godlike made it on the list. Very different styles and stories ...but a wide variety will add alot to the dropdown

Gonna work on the script as soon as possible.
