How exactly is your comic 'fantasy'? - Between Places is set on the planet Mysada, who is a personification in her own right, who has been trapped in a physical body and imprisoned by the E.L.F. types intending on killing off the planet, who are opposed by wizards and Maldlahin--elemental personifications--Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Dark, Light--who are incapable of acting in the physical realm without the aid of guardians who work and speak for them. Though one 'half' of the story is science fiction, the so-called real world that many of these guardians come from (not Earth), there is no connection by technology, only by the ability to make holes and travel between places. Hence the name. Things like computers and cell phones show up in use, for a simple reason: not everyone originated on the world the story is taking place on. Technology or not, the entire story REVOLVES around magic. Swords, magic, elves, faeries, artifacts, runes, demon creatures and elementals and... junk? It's fantasy like Advent Children was fantasy. Technology plus fantasy. Mmyep.

3. The main characters are lich, which are undead mages. The main enemies will be gods, undead, monsters, each other, angels, and a flood of fantasy creatures.

Octary, I'm sorry but as the story stands right now, I don't see it fitting into the genre that Fantasia looks for, your art style is pretty neat though! Please reapply once there's more "sword/sorcery" sorta dynamics.

3. how exactly is your comic 'fantasy'? - It's set in a world of sword & sorcery. The heroes are a group of adventurers consisting of a mage, priestess, arcane warrior, rogue, and warrior. They're part of an adventurers guild and they go around doing quests for the guild or helping folks in a world filled with goblins, dragons, and all that fun stuff.
