My question is, why do you create your comic with a computer. You are very good with paper and pencil, I'm just wondering why you prefer to do the comic with a computer.

Cut & paste & resize are nice options, too.
<P>Also, my sketchy style is kind of an excuse for me not inking well.. and so the scanning process has to be darkened, and the loss of detail doesn't thrill me there...

If there's bad art in the world, it's because of bad artists, not the tools they use. Should you not be afraid of people being able to go into a store, and buy a wooden-wrapped graphite stick, or pre-mixed paint colors? Computers are tools, meant to be used, and ideally, easier to use. That means more people are going to want to try them out.<P>As far as computer in animation, it's simply a matter of time vs. cost. It's easier and faster, sure, but we all know that it's not BETTER. There are crappy cel-based cartoons, too, y'know.
It's all a matter of how much effort is placed into the final product.<P>Woo, that's a lot of thought for pre-8:00 AM!

I guess I'm not really concerned that people are using computers to draw, I'm concerned that using computers to draw will completely replace drawing the "old fashioned way."
I'm not saying you're bad for using computers. Everyone has the right to choose what they want to use. But more people are choosing computers because it's easier.
