Haha. Your strip today is funny. ANd it's funny because it's true in D&D at least. Some DMs use that lame thing about people asking you for help for inadequate pay and stuff. YOu get to keep the loot though. Right. Like that will happen in real life. ^_^

It's a cleche that has been over used in the past in RPGA Living City rounds as well. It's come to the point that players will ask the DM, "But I moved since then, how'd this messenger find me?" Some have even stated that they intentionally moved and left no forwarding address so that they wouldn't be bothered by such messengers.<P>It's a term we call "boxed text." It should brobably be called "bold italics text" or something similar, but early RPGA rounds used to have line boxes drawn around what was supposed to be read aloud to the players.<P>You can't make a save vs. boxed text.
