Where Did Everybody Go???!!!

Post by Siece »

Things were going so well here, and there were a lot of interesting conversation, and then, suddenly, everything died.

I know school's started up again, but surely this doesn't take up so much of your time that you can't even drop by here and post for a few minutes each day.

WAKE UP AND POST ALREADY!!!!

...

Or just stay alseep and post. Posting in your sleep gaurantees a few hours each day will be available for posting. ;)

Never fear; I'm still here! (On second thought, maybe this is more of a reason to fear than anything else.)

I wouldn't interpret the lull in posting as a lack of enthusiasm. I haven't posted in awhile, but I'm still checking the strip and the forum regularly, and I'm sure there are plenty of people who are doing the same.

Yes, school has started or will be starting soon (I go to a school with a start date of September 26, but I'm moving back next week), so a lot of people's minds are elsewhere.

Also, updates in the strip are coming less frequently, as you told us they would, so we don't have completely new discussion material presented to us every day.

I can't speak for anyone else on the next reason I'm not posting as much, which is because I still feel a bit like a newcomer to this forum, which carries with it the fear of saying something incredibly stupid and embarrassing myself. I only overcome that fear when I'm 80% sure that I have something to contribute to the discussion, and even then I'm afraid that it's iffy.

Well, I guess what I'm trying to say is that we're still here, even if we're not as vocal as we used to be. :D

I stopped posting because I was distracted.

I had someone post in MY forum.
The shock near killed me.
Months without anyone posting anything (aside from me that is)
I did a little happy dance and quite forgot the world.

That and school started up again.
Not that I'm actually in school myself but the grocery store where I work has its busiest weekend then. Labour day weekend is busier than even christmas for us. Oh we make more money on the christmas holiday weekend but for sheer volume of customers we go from maybe 400 a day to about 2000 + a day. The exaustion level is really high. So I ended up not posting anything.

Sorry

You have a forum???

I've been reading your comic[1] for pretty close to a year now, and I never noticed.

[1]in bursts of a bunch of days all at once, then waiting for another pile to accumulate.

Hey Siece, if you've got anything interesting to say, go ahead and I'll commment on it.

But I post enough here on my own I'm starting to feel self concious about it.

LOL there's this site Stile Project (Ignore the Porn) where there's this one flash called "ME ME ME"....your post kev reminded me of it...it's halarious....It seriously reminds me too much of some of these live journal sites or diviant art sites...

*rolls eyes*

As an excessory to a site, I think they're wonderful ideas..but not as the base and focal point of the site themselves.

I don't know, just me.

I'm always floating around somewhere in the background. I fear I'm not a heavy poster, but I keep an eye on glych (her comic, I cant afford to be a real stalker...).
But don't worry or feel to lonely, we (the fawning masses.) are always out here, waiting for new material, hoping she isnt overworking herself.
