*wince*Robert and I dated almost 2 years ago, and it ended badly. I broke up with him in an e-mail, which was very bitchy of me, I know, and I still feel terrible, with Robert rolling his eyes over that or not.The point is, we had a relationship that ended badly...I don't think we're really friends, but I don't think we're enemies either...I mean, we're both going to school now to pursue our chosen careers...which happen to go hand in hand, Art and Writing...so it's not like we won't ever see each other again, ever...I don't want bad blood between anyone...yes- I made a mistake. I should have at least called him about it...But, in my own defense, at that point in the relationship, every conversation we had on the phone consisted mainly of fighting...I felt like I couldn't get a word in edgewise...So I did the only thing I thought of to make sure that my words rang through...And it was more painful for Robert that it was for me...I was a bitch...there, I admit it...And I don't think we're creating something that's not there to admit that there is tension and ill feelings between us...But there is also kindred thoughts of knowing the other only through typed words and long distance calls...I don't think we'd be lying to ourselves if we said that we still had feelings for each other...My...more....."positive" feelings towards Robert might be unermined by my more "Negative" but ti doesn't mean there aren't positive feelings there...Just that they're really small...I'll get over it...I have been...Slowly...As for dating off of the internet...I don't know anymore...I was burned...we both were...but that doesn't rule out the possibility...Maybe I'm just too wrapped up in idealistic reasoning and optomistic views of "truth, beauty, freedom, and -above all things- love" (-Moulin Rouge)that I don't see it staring me in the face...To be honest...Robert was my second meaningful relationship in my life...The first being someone very dear to me who commited to suicide to "protect my reputation"...And to be honest- I haven't had a realtionship like that or Robert's since...*sigh*Siece...I guess I just thought I'd let you know...Anyhoo...your link is broken...And even though my heart aches for companionship like any 18 year old chica, it doesn't mean I'm looking for it...Right now...All I want to do is have a little bit of fun, and get a lot of work done before my hand folds into a permanent claw appendage form tendonitis and carpletunnle...-glych------------------
