Okee -- I've read Scott Kurtz's rant.. And I've read Barry Smith's reaction..<P>I was curious about how all of you felt?<P>Personally, I'd be absolutely irrate if someone ripped off my artwork and said it was their's and was trying to say "look, you're not so hot" with it.. and then claiming it was all just parody. <P>I mean, Mr. Kurtz has the right to say whatever he likes in his rants. He can be a childish, self-centered weenie if he wants. I generally don't read his rants anyway. I love his art, I love his comic, I could be quite happy never knowing him.. but does he have the right to do what he did and say what he did? I don't think so. Yes, it's too bad the other web artists excluded him, but maybe they read his rants and saw his opinions of them in the first place. He tries to say that Pete Abrams is a snob, but Pete's answered my emails (So has Tom) and they're both nice guys. Just very, very busy. Maybe he made his own bed on this one, I don't know, I can just go by what he's said in his own rants and how other people have reacted.<P>I feel so sorry for Mr. Smith. It sounds like he really tried his best to patch things over and then got the middle finger stuck in his face. Sounds like he bent over backwards and then got a boot in the ass. If I was Mr. Smith I'd be saying some pretty nasty stuff. Good thing he's more mature than both me *and* Mr. Kurtz.<P>It's actually kind of sad really, out of the 18 web comics I read, I only like five of the artists and would consider them people I'd like to get to know better and friends with. (Y'know, the go out for coffee thing.. not the move in with them and be their bestest friend ever thing)<P>"Can't we all just .. .. get along?"

Am...am i one of them?<P>But, whenever I use someone else's art, I try to give them credit....<P>i don't know,<P>honestly-<P>what you're talking about.<P>I mean, I honestly don't read his comic, maybe I should. yeah, Pete and Tomn are great guys, Damonk is soooo funny! Also, BoxJoam seems to be a bit on his high horse, but low enough to us grunians to be able to see if the guy has shaved or not...<P>Personally, I don't think anyone is above another, that's why i try to answer all my e-mails (even when -like today- they exceed 1000....1000! I'm <i>not</i> that important folks!)<P>I don't know. Maybe he just needs a hug.<P>-glych<P>------------------
