Oooooh, a penny? Pennies are shiny! I want! Erm, can I have a penny, and a donut too?
Shouldn't it be *chirp, chirp*? Crickets don't actually say cricket. Although saying "cricket" during a lull in the conversation will get you some odd looks, which is always a good thing.
~ Falen

In a related story, I have stopped glaring at people and now I just say, "Glare."

Why did everyone stop reading? I'm not that bad, am I?
------------------

*hangs head in shame for letting message board activity lapse*
Sorry about that. I will try not to let it happen again.
------------------

Actually, "Cricket, cricket" is realted to the "May the Farce be with you" storyline... I did a lot of sound effects to parody the use of sound in the original trilogy.... some of them are "hut, hut hut, hut" for the stormtroopers or "Sponstroopers", some of them I used for the Jawas- but those were "Deet Deet" lines....just had fun...It's kinda' an inside gag, considering the term is used on the Toonbot's board, the Framed board, Untitled again, Sluggy (wow!), Randymthoughts, and whatnot... I feel sorta' famous now...
But you're right- it should be "chirp", but it's not
-glych
------------------

Actually, there was a littleApril Fools joke. Look just below my good bye message.
Also, I did do the April Fools Comic Swap. See it at http://glickglidewell.keenspace.com .
Thanks so much. You compliments really mean a lot to me.
Wait...
This isn't an April Fools joke, is it?

quote:
Originally posted by SpoonyBard2k:

Naw, I was being serious. I'm not subtle with my jokes, April fools or not. If I was joking, you'd know ^_^

DOOM!!
i've been reading. Glick did real well. I laughed out loud a few times this week reading...which is a good sign. Just lettin' you know you did a good job. I'm just not posting here, cause i have pressing matters to attend to.
Such as, you ask?
Like finding out the truth to conspiracies such as The Moon Walk mission being faked, writing my book entitled,"understanding the 4th dimension and you", and completing my quest to find the ark to use as a powerful weapon to make people realize, it's not nice to piss off a 9ft tall big black shiney robot.
Yeah, there's run on sentences in that paragraph, but you must have mistaken me for someone who gives a funk.
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
ps. you rock glych, cause you're OLD SKOOL!!!
"The reason why you're cool, is cause you're from the ol' school, and they know it.
