Hi! New reader hyah!

Post by LCARS »

You know what I just realized?

Oprah is so fat, that her gravitational field has caused her huge rolls of fat to compress to make her seem to loose weight.

Occasionally, the sun and moon will be at opposite ends of the planet, decreasing her mass and causing her circumference to expand.

Much like a red giant star.

I must say, this is the first time that I have accessed my keenspace forum account in over a year.

It gave me a good excuse to finally use my Tool avatar. ;)

Hello from another new reader! :D

I'm glad you're back in action; I really like "parallel existences" because they provide a lot of insight into the characters (and the creator as well).

Take care!

(Incidentally, this is the first time I've ever used a Keenspace forum, although I post regularly on Keenspot.)

it was great meeting you at con LCARS! and as for you, luv (42-who's eyes are blue?) If you were at con, I was probably away from the booth..

You copuld have left a message with your name, phone number, and the time you called, and glych would have returned your call just as soon as she could...

*beep*

Thanks for enjoying it ^_^

Whoa...

In your "free time" (HA, as though we have any of that!), you could run your own psychic hotline. :P

Anyway, sorry, I wasn't at the con; I really would have liked to have gone, but I had just moved from New York to Chicago and didn't feel like traveling for awhile. I'd really like to meet you and other people in this very friendly Keenspot-Keenspace community, so I'm looking forward to next year!

Your name (Forty Two) was on the flashy console thing, you know?

It was under the "12:00" display.

Mine was under the Hampster wheel, it was awsome.

It was cool meeting you at the con too, Glych. It was actually your 20 minute lecture on making a plush car window doll out of that smiling cat-thing that made me decide to check out your site (that, and the Keenspace Spotlight). ;)

That display was awesome. Even if Steve does need to get it into his head when my birthday actually is. ;) But altogether Steve couldn't have come up with a catchier display. :)

"parralel existences"??? How do you know that this one is real, and that one's the parralel? Or maybe they're both real? Or maybe niether is real, and we're all just Shadows of some other reality? Did you ever think of that one?

So when IS your birthday? You can't exactly make a comment like that and then not tell us, you know...;)

Actually, yes I had!

Parallel doesn't necessarily mean that one is any truer than any other; I would have called it an "alternate" reality, but I feel that description does in some way imply that one is superior or "more correct."

Here's a visual image: The NonPersons continuity with the Spons and Atom we're all accustomed to is a straight line (well, it doesn't have to be straight, but it's a line). This continuity, Wizard of Oz/Through the Looking Glass reality, is another line running parallel to the first. A third line intersects them both; this is Glych's line, perhaps with her in our reality as a cartoonist. Since she crosses the other lines, she can enter into their worlds.

I'd draw a diagram since I don't think I'm explaining myself clearly, but my computer skills aren't that great.

As to how real our own reality is, I've always thought that my life contains so much coinciedence and foreshadowing, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that I'm a fictional character. Then there are my own fantasies...Are they the ideas of an idea or my dim perception of another existence?

Perhaps one day you'll discover that you're nothing more than a rewritable fiction. We may never know...

I have a cinder block. I can prove without a doubt that this cinder block, and this universe, are quite real. ;)

Next week: How to make an Adirondack Chair and matching ottoman with C-4 plastic explosive and a duck.

 Sorry, I guess I got a bit carried away.

Anyway, glych, I really like where this story is headed, and it's got daily updates and everything! Thanks for all your hard work in bringing this to us.

Now I'll just crawl into a hole and hide after my embarrassing entrance into Keenspace...

Who's holding the pencil?

mew! [yup, only around 500,000,000 of us Kittens, though.]

mew... [we worship you as a Goddess!]

mew! [The Goddess who created Spons, our favorite cat-god!]

*purr* [All will worship Glych and despair!]

mew [and we'll ribbon anyone who doesn't go along with us. heehee!]

mew [Glych? Why are you on the floor whimpering?]
We are the Kitten. Lower your weapons and open your arms. Your refrigerators and sofas will be utilized for our comfort. Your society will be assimilated to nurture and care for our own. Resistance is Furry.
