Everyone knows the importance of surge protectors, right?<P>What am I talking about? Well, last night we had a bad storm. (I didn't even know, since I was asleep.) Anyway, a big storm rolled in, and KRACKOW! ZAP! BAM! My computer is dead. It won't even turn on.<P>That means no more DSL. No more scanner. No more comics until next week. You'll see why. I guess I can use this as an excuse to buy a new, better computer.<P>If you were wondering, I'm typing this on a laptop. And my wrists hurt from typing on the flat keyboard. I like my ergonomic wave keyboard better.<P>So...<P><B>RIP

UPS? Aren't they like Fed-Ex or something?<P>Anyway, I'm back, so to speak. Still no scanner or anything, but at least I have Internet access. (Still on this crappy laptop) And telling bad jokes, no less.<P>------------------
