Ack! I have suffered a crushing defeat!
Once more I was crushed by de feet!
Shall I offer you mint chocolate truffles so that you may spare my poor feline hide any more abuse?

Hmm, that totally ruins my hypothesis. I thought it was food-related or bribe-related, but that does not seem to be the case. I have one further hypothesis which shall be tested by the answer to Canis's post... I think I've picked up a pattern which may or may not be the rule...
It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. - attributed to Samuel Adams
“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” - Richard Henry Lee

Hmm. I guessed that would be the response. I have certainly found one pattern which links all the accepted posts, and excludes all the rejected posts: the accepted posts are all composed of one declarative sentence, properly punctuated, offering a bribe.

Oooo, Wander, sorry. You're a better dancer than you are a people-pleaser. *yanks off stage with shepherd's crook...and accidentally breaks Wander's neck*
Oops...aheh.
I'm going to give a half-hint-half-clarification: In Brock's first post, he broke up his outside-gameplay speculation and his entry into the game. Because he was specific, I counted only what he had labeled "The Game Post." Just making sure we're all clear on that.
Speaking of which, are you guessing the rule, Brock?

Sure, why not. What do I have to lose if I'm wrong? ...oh wait a second...
*checks for the nearest spawn point for reference* Okay. Let's go with that hypothesis then. At the very least we'll eliminate one possibility (and myself).
The post must have a complete (properly punctuated) declarative sentence.

Ah, well. Learned what the rule is not, so that's progress.

I will hypothesise that the rule is that the sentance has to be in future present tense.
I will also offer a brown sugar and cinnemon pop tart, to avoide manglation.

I can tell you that's not the rule, because Canis's offer of fondue wasn't accepted, and it would have been accepted under that rule.
