One of my occasional signature lines on usenet is

"It was a typical net.exercise. A screaming mob pounding on a greasy spot on the pavement, where used to lie the carcass of a dead horse."

A couple of things of interest from their blog page:

They will start taking preorders on 12/12, but they've been silent as to price and delivery date.

In a post on 11/21, they say that "not every" key will have a display. To keep costs down, they're skipping the spacebar, shift keys, etc.
