DDR workout

Post by Jaydub »

Hey, I break out is a sweat just watching someone good at DDR. Those people who really get into it really get a workout. :)

Hilarious thing is, they seem almost too easy for my wife at times, I guess it was all that dance and gymnastics training she had.

Sign of (my) age? Or is RH changing his style? The last two GH strips (Boong Ga Boong Ga, and the DDR machine) are the first ones I've ever had to research to understand the joke. Every other one was at least decipherable by the context.

Boong Ga Boong Ga is probably because it is one of the more uhhh... interesting Japanese arcade games... that probably won't get exported.

DDR? Can't help you, as far as I know, just about ever arcade I have been to of late has at least one DDR machine (several have upwards of five is the max I've seen).

Yeah, if you go to arcades. Last time I went to one was when my kids were little, which has been a long while.

the only way I knew about DDR was because one of my son's girlfriend used it for exercise when she was visiting us. If not for that I would not have had a clue. :o

I hate to nit-pick, but you misspelled that last word.

Oh.
Wait.
Context.

Nope, you got it right.

And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Played DDR ONCE.

For all of ten seconds.

Right then, I realized I'd wasted my fifty cents on a game I had no hope of playing well. Everyone tells me I can dance, but I can't dance like THAT. -:P

Jion the club Calbeck :) My wife and her best friend absolutely love the game, both studied dance from the time they were little girls, her husband and I? we're lucky if we can put one foot in front of the other without falling down compared to them.

I would almost pay to make a commission of her DOING the dance steps. Now, someone like me, who is far too clumsy, it looks silly. But, I've watched a few of the good girls on it....

All I can say is purr.

Now, where can I get the money for a commission.... gah.
