Leave me here with you??

I wonder if Penny and Ben get around to discussing his purchases and what they are for that she will support Ben or become a mediator to get Lily and Ben back together. :o :o

what'd stink the worst is if this is a mirror of a relationship Ralph's actually been through. it's hard enough when a character has to go through something like this it's even worse when an actual person goes through it.
I still say the doctor did it....

I believe Ralph would have to get married first. So far as I know, he's still single.
I'm lost. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Thanks.

I would not be surpised if Penny was a factor in Lily and Ben getting back together. Intentially or un-intentially. But Ben needs to realize that he really should not make monumental deicisions without at least telling Lily. And Lily has to learn that everytime something goes wrong in her marriage that she can 'run home to momma.'
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

I'm really kind of shocked at both of 'em. Sure, I could buy Ben making some unwise purchases, but violating their agreement about the credit card... well, maybe. But then (apparantly) copping a "So what?" attitude when Lily objected, rather than apologizing, because he really did do something wrong... that... I don't know, just doesn't seem like the Ben we've all come to know and love.

Makes me wonder if there's a new tulpa wandering around the house somewhere. A jackass, perhaps. Or a dodo bird.

And Lily running home to Mother likewise doesn't seem like Lily. Even though, judging by her reaction to the credit card bill, it wasn't a small purchase.

My bet is that Ben came into a windfall (like the auctions of those machines netting so much more than he had planned) and decided to route the money to something worthwhile. He needed the credit card for the float (timing issues) and Lily had a full head of steam up by the time that Ben never got a chance to say "we already have the money for that".
Other than that scenario, I await the appearance of jackass Tulpa because that's about the only other way I see Ralph going forward with this.

Its at these times I wish I could remove my brain and clean away certain memories. That pic hurts my head.

Wednesday's Freefall seems uncannily appropriate to this thread....

Maybe Lily might get a tulpa of her very own?

Arn't most of them brought into the world through stress?

Very bad sign.

IRL "going home to Momma" is, if not the first step to breaking up the marriage, a sign that things are so close to that as to almost not be distinguishable.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I don't get the picture or it's reference, maybe I'm just immune or something.

and think of how few fights they've had. this is probably more a testament to how inexperienced they are as a couple then to wether their relationship will last or not (I hope)

last I checked Ralph liked jokes, politics, and adventure. but wasn't much for soap opera stuff.
