Goblin Hollow RPing - Mun discussion thread.
Nope. I checked the SRD, then a big adobe acrobat compilation of every spell in 3.5. Clerics can cast Curse of Lycanthropy as a 6th level spell (Complete Divine) to turn the touched humanoid into a were-whatever type of animal blood you use as a material component, but the wizards and sorcerers are out of luck unless you use homebrew spells. Not that Curse of Lycanthropy is all that useful... ooh, I turned the orc barbarian into a weresquirrel, and it'll only be three weeks before it affects him at all.

I'm thinking that it might be fitting if Jake was let in on the secret of the village.. It might change his perspective.
Also.. in fitting with the ... gift from god... theme..
IMHO Their ability to change form is dependant on their alignment as much as a paladin's powers are.
The eldest is a little bit absent minded

Nobanion really would be a great deity for this village, if they were in the Forgotten Realms... his stated emphasis is the teaching that nobility is in actions and personality, not lineage, but Lord Firemane has a distinct preference for Wemic (liontaurs) and werelions. He's got a paladin order that only those two types need apply to, and its primary objective is to protect good-aligned 'monsters' from the evil and the misinformed who fear them. Then there's Selune, a deity most good and neutral aligned lycanthropes feel a special relation to... she's basically the moon deity.
Forgotten Realms presents a fascinating array of deities that I know far too much about for somebody who's only played two characters who served any, but I don't think my elaborating would be welcomed here. Toma's the first, and I had a fighter/cleric (only because the DM insisted I had to use the deity's martial 'favored weapon) who served Nobanion.

It's not so much a lack of interest I'm thinking of. What I've said thus far is readily figured out from the free and readily-available Web Enhancements WotC has put out as supplements for the original sourcebooks, which aren't open source. It's nothing that they'd probably consider prosecution-worthy even if one of their employees reads this forum, but it wouldn't look good if they saw it and figured out which of the resumes they've got on file is mine. I mostly noted Nobanion because he looks a lot like a winged Aslan.

Not that I mind these guys being off the Ark, but that would have been thousands of years before where story is taking place, right? Even if this in a medieval era? Just clarifying.

Yes, to my understanding, Noah was approximately 2200BC. I'm not sure what the exact time period would be, but I'm going to assume middle ages here, which would be sometime after 1000AD.. so yes, they have detailed records for over 3000 years..
In my mind, they played a hidden but integral part of the old and new testiment.
Daniel and the Lions den? Perhaps they were there...

funny, I thought Noah and the Flood was even before that. Long before that. But it doesn't matter. Story is still the same.

I'm waiting for someone to go outside so John can see them and catch up on what he missed.

I think what we need is to either get the group together or to get a list of where the PCs are and what is happening (in summary) so as to organize events back together. while thigns may be happening in sync they're really confusing. personally that confusion is rather intimidating and if it gets any worse it'll start threatening, bribing and conspiring too.
oh and I had Jake follow that young lad.
