Several young boys answer the door, and looking at Deac ask "Who are you?"

Deac is rather taken aback by the large greeting commitee and has to take a moment to collect himself. He then raises his visor and tries to confendently ask, "I am looking for the Mastersmith William Barbary. Is this his residence?"

The boys look at eachother.. Then the oldest says "He means Dad.. "
"Oh" they say.. then they run into the house saying "Daaaaady."

A moment later Will comes to the door, wearing the Gr'Nak except for the helmet, which he has under one arm.
"Oh hello Deac, do come in.. " Will says, he then introduces his wife and kids.
"Deac, meet my wife Jasmine, and my boys Peter, Paul, James and John." he says, gesturing to his wife, and kids, from oldest to youngest..

Deac gives Jasmine a slight bow and greets her with, "A pleasure to meet you, milady," while touching two fingers to his forehead and giving a slight salute. He then greets each of the children in turn with sincerity and kindness.

"A remarkable family, William. A pleasure to meet them," he then turns to Jasmine and says, "I am afraid that I must borrow your husband for awhile, if that is alright?"

Jasmine frowns at the armor for a moment, then she responds. "Just as long as I get him back hale and whole."

"So, what bring you to my home, Deac?" will asks with a smile.

"We found a small oddity at the library and we could use your.....history, I guess?" Deac said, answering the question.

Will ponders for a moment. then he responds "Aye, gimi a minute.. "
He then turns to Jasmine, and touches his forhead to hers for a moment, then dons the helmet, and fastens on a matching mottled green cloak to the armor.

"Ok, he says.. Lead on.." Will says as he buckles on his sword.

Deac says a quck farewell to the family and bids WIll to follow him. Outside Deac says nothing about Will's change in clothing but leads him back to the library were those who were there are still pondering the unknown journel.

Deac then ntoices the official there as well, "Greetings, councilmember." He then turns to Vlad and gestures at the council member. "Did you already found out what you needed?"

Before Vlad can answer, Deac pounds his fist into an open palm and quickly turns to Will, taking the small Bible out of his pouch and showing it to William.

"Begging your pardon, Vlad," Deac apologizes for interruptting, "but before I forget, I wanted to ask you....could I please take with this with me? I do not have one, you see."

a drop of sweat hit the floor as Jake finished dragging the last piece of furniture out of the main room and into the other. it had been hard but finally the main room was empty and ready for the runes and, more importantly, the circle.

{well,} Jake thought standing in the midst of the empty room {so much for the easy part} and with that he waved a hand and from the bags in the other room an ever wettened pen and a long scroll flew at him. catching the items easily he sat down and thought of what would go on the letter

{what do I tell him?} he thought {this is the first time in a long time that I have ever had good news}

Deac frowns and gives a slight nod. He goes back to where he found the small Bible and replaces it, gently pats back in place.

"Where could I do that?" Deac asks, returning to the others.

"I'll show you after we're done here," Will says turning from Deac to Vlad, "I believe Vlad was about to say something."

"Yes, actually," Vlad says with a smile, "This gentleman here graciously offered his help in translating the journal. Apparently, this was written many centuaries ago by another of your Order as he hunted vampires around the area. This Vampire Lord that is mentioned was, supposedly, in residence in the area that is now claimed by the Church. That could be where our Baron got his ties to the Church from."

Vlad smiles, "I had the same question. Appartently, he found a lead about the Vampire Lord and was gathering more information. There are no entries past that."

He pauses and taps his chin. THen he finally asks, "Did he ever actually find anything? And for that matter...who was HE to begin with?"

"It begining say that he was named David and he was a Kinght of the Order," Vlad says, "I'm not quite sure what that means. He did find several things, though. Hunted the undead and werewolves throughout the region."
