Question about Velvet

Does velvet have wings or is this creator's license that he (I've always thought of Velvet as a she for some reason. Guess it's just the personality of the character) use them very sparringly?

Cause this has been confusing me since I've started reading over the comic from the beginning (5th time too)

Pretty much uses 'em sparingly, so far as I know. Then again, it may just be artistic license, i.e. don't think about it too hard. :P It's just a comic strip. You should really just relax.

My guess is that Mr. Ralph occassionally draws wings on Velvet to show that he's a muse-like character.

It's a strange dish. About like Szechuan Chihuahua.

They say a joke blows if you've gotta explain it, but here goes:

Welsh Rabbit (Or Welsh Rarebit depending on who you ask) is a dish consisting of melted cheese on toast

the wikipedia entry on it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_rabbit

Welsh rabbit is a snack dish, also known as toasted cheese, Cheese on Toast or Welsh rarebit. It is a dish in British cuisine.

It is made by grating cheese, blending it with beer or a little milk and butter, seasoning (particularly with mustard), and spreading the mixture onto hot toast; the whole is then grilled in the British fashion, that is, heated briskly from above (called broiling in North America). Classically the cheese used in Welsh rarebit is Cheddar or Double Gloucester.

Blame the person that started the Cheese jokes on this one.

Anyways. RH, what's the deal with the rabbit?

The puns had stopped about five posts back. ". . .Stop milking the puns?" Do you even know what you've said? The chance of you being taken seriously has probably soured.

That aside, I think it would be interesting if some of the posse made cameos as NPCs.

Heh. Yeah, they'd be good at that. But at the moment they're busy making Solidus' life miserable.

Enough with the freaking Cheese jokes.

BTW I talked with RH. He says it's just "one of those things"
