Let's see a stud horse is kept for breeding horses, A stud bull is kept for breeding cows, now what is it you do with Muffins?

Gooood question. :D

As far as I know, muffins are baked. I think *this* one may be half-baked...

Where did the Muffin Man come from? Let's see, how does that go. :o

Oh, do you know the muffin man,

The muffin man, the muffin man,

Oh, do you know the muffin man,

That lives on Drury Lane?

Oh, yes, I know the muffin man,

The muffin man , the muffin man,

Oh, yes, I know the muffin man,

That lives on Drury Lane.

Yep, it's conclusive, he came from over on Drury Lane. :) :o

Correct me if I am mis-remembering my culinary science, but muffins COULD theoretically be made as minature bread peices, heavy on the sugar and chocolate (or whatever). As such they would require yeast... and especially in primative cultures yeast must be kept in an active culture (don't know what the term for my contrasting uses of the word 'culture is here, but I do think it a seridipidous(sp?) bit of verbage). In such a case a 'stud muffin' would be a muffins worth of dough, perhaps even stored in a muffin pan by itself, that is not cooked, but is rather it (or a pinch of it) is worked in with the next batch of muffin dough to levin it. So in this way it would be a 'breeder' of muffins with yeast bacteria conceptually substituted for spermatazoa(sp).

Plausible?

And much more importantly:
Funny?
