Do all dogs go to Heaven?

Post by Jaydub »

Sorry I do not have a blog and I needed to post this.

Do all dogs go to Heaven?

An interesting question and I am sure that anyone who has had a dog in their lives would say yes. I believe when you get that new bundle of energy on 4 legs you are bringing in a new member of the family or in their minds pack. A member of the family that only has goal in life, please their family. If you are the one to raise and care for the new puppy whether you know it or not you become the Alpha male or Female of your puppies pack. They are there for your beckon call and will do anything you ask just for the chance to have their heads scratched or backed rubbed. They give you all their love with nothing asked in return. They bring a lot of joy into your life through the little thing they do. They way the greet you when you come home. The way they will sit down next to you and nuzzle your hand to get you to pet them, bring you ball and drop it in you lap so you will throw it and to many other things to mention here. They become a fixture in you life. They are always there for you when you whether you are feeling down or are on the top of the world. They are truly man

I feel for you, Jay. Thor, my german shepherd, turns two in 2.5 weeks. I can't imagine life without him, even though we haven't had him very long.

You can take comfort in the fact that Midnight has lived a long, full life with you and that she was happy. And you will be sparing her the pain she would otherwise endure.

My best to you and your family in this time of sadness.

we once had a cat that caught feline leukemia (am I spelling that right?)and then caught a cold.

it was sad, in order to get a drink she would come into the shower with my mom to try and drink, see cats usually breath through their noses when they drink but with her nose clogged like it was she was always thirsty.

eventually we had her put down. we blame the next door neighbor's cat for infecting her with the leukemia. but that's just us.

as far as the question the topic presents, in my church we believe that the four beasts mentioned in revelations in the holy bible are representational of all the animals in heaven. it would be a pretty large group if john saw all the animals at once in a vision especially if the point of the vision wasn't to talk about animals anyway so that there were some there to represent the rest is understandable.

then again, there is a scripture that my brothers used to joke about. it goes something like this
"and they shall be clean in heaven without spot." :D

me gusta los gatos y gatas (I know JAM's gonna crown me for this)
I still say the doctor did it....

Deepest condolences Jay.....I know the wrenching of the heart this has.....I had to have my cat of 16yrs put down because of multiple problems and rapidly declining health....this was 4 years ago and I still feel the loss even though I have 2 more cats.

I have no doubt that he'll be waiting for me......if I can convince St Peter that I really do belong there. :D

I'll say a prayer for you.

We are NOT surrounded.....this is a "target rich" environment!
