Same here.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Comment from far-left field:

I heard that ninja in feudal Japan would sometimes "fix" themselves in order to eliminate a potential weak point in hand to hand combat. THAT'S what I would qualify as loyalty to a cause... :o

(or VERY controlling leadership, or maybe both)

Did I ever mention I'm so happy to be living in this day and age? :D

I think there were numerous situations where people were "fixed" so as to help htem focus on their other duties, I hear that bulls, if castrated end up putting the unused energy to making more meat on their bodies for the butcher.
I still say the doctor did it....

OPEN QUERY

With all the double posts I've been seeing for the past few days.....are some of you getting either a "fatal error" or "Debug" message after you post? Then you re-post your message and it ends up on the board twice?

This was happening a while back....and it seems that the posts would go thru the first time regardless of the messages being displayed.

Is this happening to some of you....Shyal_Malkes.....did you notice your double post?

OPEN QUERY FOLLOW-UP

I just got the same "DEBUG" error message when I posted the above message......and I'll probably get one with this one.

Anyone told the SysAdmin about this?

You know, something about the timing of this storyline is interesting.. Here in Quebec, the Young Liberals Organisation was petitionning for the provincial government to institute federal laws to keep schoolgirls from wearing too-skimpy clothing.. (thus, apparantly those guys aren't as Liberal as they claim to be).

...So, guess what happens? A little miss busybody journalist, called Lise Payette, criticizes them as being sexists who want to force quebec schoolgirls to dress up in Burkas like Talibans. Furthermore, she thinks the problem is with MEN who can't control themselves, and that girls should have the right to dress up however they like.

...Thus speaks a woman who's obviously not a mother..

Part of the problem is that some girls expect a double standard--either that or they're just dull. They dress like trash and wonder why they attract flies. You see some 15-year-old girl in a halter top and miniskirt and she complains about dirty old men ogling her (those "dirty old men" being in thelr late 20s or so, like myself). It's not easy on us either, sweetheart.

I'm not saying that it's totally their fault they get taken advantage of--there are plenty of male slimeballs that don't care if she's jailbait. What I am saying is that these girls should realize there are plenty of male slimeballs ou tthere that will take advantage of them. If you don't want to attract that sort of trash, you need to dress and act more appropriately for your age.

The really sad part is that often times, the parents are condoning this type of clothing. How else could some of these kids get it? They're too young to get jobs.

There's plenty of blame on all sides of this problem, trust me. There's blame on some of the men, blame on some of the girls, blame on most of the parents.

I do want to make one thing clear though. I am not what you'd typically associate with conservative. I don't want to see these girls in burkas or anything, I don't want to rob them of their freedom of expression (this IS still a free country, for a little while longer anyway), thing is you can express yourself in other ways than wearing 5 square inches of fabric.
^ the above was me sounding like I know WTF I'm talking about.

Got that right. Ignorance can be cured if you ask for help. Even stupidity can be helped. It's only willful ignorance that deserves the death penalty.
