Hmmm... I was hoping the Tulpa of Idiocy might have been spawned from Jerry Lewis being forced to watch a Chevy Chase marathon, or maybe the other way around... Eh, Gilligan works too.

Of course they would. Jerry Lewis is an American who acts like an idiot. When you offer entertainment to fit someone's prejudice, they'll be inclined to enjoy it. That's why the French think Jerry Lewis is brilliant.
