[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

So that's the "damage" Ben did that got him fired? Well, he could have worded the story so that.....

...wait, Beltane banned everything that had "Christmas" ***written***, not ***spoken***, right?

Legally, she can't do a thing to Ben, but I doubt she cares about that now.

Personally, I dislike Christmas as much as the next non-religious Christian who works retail.

...but only to complain there's a lack of recognition of MY holiday. Of course, once my store got in some dogtoys that were for Channuka, I still complained - they were HORRIBLE...

>.<

But as I was saying, I dislike Christmas as much as the next person. And I get annoyed on how Thanksgiving (A much more important holiday to me, but I'm food-oriented and Christmas means food AFTER New Years for me) is pre-empted by Christmas (...mid October? GODDAMNIT...)...

But even then, I know of nobody on my campus (And I've got LOTS of dingbats!) that would want to do what Beltaine does. And yes, we have followers of Wicca (So they say. I know nothing on it so can't quiz 'em), and they'll be "Whatever."

Now, see, if it was me.. ...I'd just continue the story without even flinching, without even looking at her until she snapped.

"Every Who Down in Whoville Liked Christmas a lot...
But the Grinch,Who lived just north of Whoville, Did NOT!
The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right.
It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all,
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small."

Exactly.....Now we sit back and watch the dingbat bounce off the walls in a screeching hissy-fit.

I would have turned around and screamed, "RUN FOR IT CHILDREN! I"LL FEND HER OFF!" and then take the nearst mob and jab her with the wet end.

*puts on a South Park costume*

It's hard to be a Jew on Christmas
My Friends won't let me join in any games..
And I can't sing Christmas songs
Or decorate a Christmas tree..
Or leave water out for Rudolph
cuz there's something wrong with me..
My people don't believe in Jesus Christ's divinity..
I'm a Jew, a lonely Jew.. on Christmas.

Hanukkah is nice, but why is it,
That Santa passes over my house every year?
And instead of eating Ham
I have to eat Kosher Lakish..
Instead of Silent Night
I'm singing hou-hazch-tou-gavish..
And what the f(weep) is up
With lighting all these f(weep)ing Candles, tell me please?
I'm a Jew, a lonely Jew..
I can't be merry, cuz i'm Hebrew.. on Christmas.

Hey Little Boy, I can't help but hear,
You're feeling left out of Christmas Cheer..
But i've come to see that you shouldn't be sad
This is the one month that you shoud be glad..

Because it's nice to be a Jew on Christmas
You don't have to deal with the season at all..
You don't have to be on your best behavior, or give to charity
You don't have to go to grandma's house with your alcoholic family..
And I don't have to sit on some fake Santa's lap
And have him breathe his stinky breath on me!
That's right! You're a Jew, a stylin' Jew..
It's a good time, to be Hebrew.. on Christmas.

How's that? ^-^

Leave it to Bob Rivers.
(The animation was hilarious too.)

Of course, we could also get "Santa Claus And His Ol' Lady" by Cheech and Chong too.

I know - I have his website bookmarked. If I'm ever feeling down, I just pull up his Twisted Tunes and play a couple. Another good one is Jingle Bells '98 - on the following page (sorry, no animation for this one):

Nip & Tuck's redneck rebuttals take some of the punch out of this. I respect the people in that part of the country more than the ones in Microsponge country, where the clip came from.

Whups! And here comes the 'fun extinguisher', ready at a moment's notice to quench our hilarity with a cold splash of reality... :P
