So did Gunther (or Ben himself) do something drastic to the tape player hooked up to the P.A. system, or did Ben put on some religous Christmas music and get into a shouting match with the boss over it? Very possibly neither...

I TRUELY sympathize with Ben here.......why more retail sales personnel don't go postal over the music

during Christmas is a mystery to me!!

Bad as it is, it doesn't beat having to hear a Kit Kat commecial played every three minutes each day for several weeks.

I don't know... After about a quarter of a century working in the broadcast TV biz, it's all just background noise that doesn't register any more - until it goes away or is replaced by "Shhhhhhhhhhhh"! Either of those events generally means I have to go fix something.

Sorta like being in the jungle or deep woods....as long as you can hear the sounds everythings cool....it gets quiet.........!

Ah, yes - the famous 'white noise.' If you listen to it long enough, and block out everything else, you start to hear something...it sounds like a faint voice...it's saying, "Get up off your butt and go find out what's wrong with the signal!!"
